Valentines’ Day is almost here, and if you have someone you love there are easy gifts you can get them. You might have considered just buying them a box of chocolates on the day of. Everyone’s been there. But it’s not the most creative idea, and more than that, it can be absolutely disastrous for your partner’s oral health.

This year, it might be a good idea to pick something up that both your loved one and their dentist will like. Here are a few ideas.

Spa Day

Life is stressful, and just about everyone could use some time to rewind. A spa day is a chance to get pampered, to relax, and if you do it together, to bond with your significant other. Spas often offer Valentines’ Day specials for just this occasion, many of which have a romantic theming to them. And hey, if you do decide to make it a trip for two, you can also count it as a gift for yourself.

Flowers

A little cheesy, but at the end of the day there are some people who absolutely love flowers. A bouquet of roses is always nice, but if you’d like to get creativity points you might also try a custom arrangement featuring your partners favorite flowers. They’re naturally busy this time of year, but if you talk to your local florist they may be able to help you put something together.

Stuffed Animal

Nothing represents the fuzzy feeling that your partner gives you like something… well, fuzzy. There’s no shortage of Valentines’ themed stuffed animals, coming in all shapes and sizes. Depending on the sort of person you are (and how much room you have in your house) you can do anything from oversized teddy bears to something perfect for cradling.

There are plenty of avenues you can go to when it comes to gift giving. While you ultimately know best what your significant other will like, you might want to pay a little extra mind to their oral health this year.
